Join UREC at the History and Heritage Fair in Hoosick Falls on Saturday, May 17 from 10am-3pm. We will be tabling and sharing information about Underground Railroad history, Underground Railroad Education Center programs, and the new net-zero Interpretive Center being built that will allow UREC to expand its programming and community event offerings. Planned activitiers at the Fair:

— Displays showcasing the People, Places, and Things of local and regional history.
— Historic interpreters.
— Interactive family activities.
— A free narrated trolley ride to and from the Bennington Battlefield.
— At the Bennington Battlefield, visitors can experience living history with musket demonstrations, tours of the grounds, and learn about life during that period.
— The Louis Miller Museum will be open, showcasing the cultural history of the community.
— Owls, hawks, and other feathered friends will be featured at the fair.
