Your privacy is important to us, so the Underground Railroad History Project of the Capital Region (URHPCR) designs and operates its web services with the protection of privacy taken into account. The types of personal information that may be gathered when you use URHPCR websites and some of the steps we take to safeguard it are outlined in this Privacy Policy.

    We may share with others aggregated non-personal information such as visitor trends or the number of visitors who accessed a particular part of URHPCR websites.


    URHPCR does not intentionally solicit the use of its websites by children and will not knowingly collect personal data from children without prior parental consent. We will knowingly use or disclose personal data about a child only to the extent permitted by law, to seek parental consent pursuant to local law and regulations or to protect the child.
