At The Stephen and Harriet Myers Residence learn the real story about the Underground Railroad. Hidey holes? Nope. Dark of night? Nope. Come ‘meet’ Stephen and Harriet Myers and their colleagues to learn about the challenges they faced as they worked to end the institution of enslavement in New York State and the nation and help Freedom Seekers to freedom while also addressing civil rights issues that are familiar to us today.

At The Freedom Walk in downtown Albany visit the locations where abolitionist lived, worked and engaged in their activities and where freedom seekers sought sanctuary.
