Stephen Myers Induction into the National Abolition Hall of Fame and Museum

Mark your calendars and plan to attend the 2022 Induction Ceremony to be held at the National Abolition Hall of Fame and Museum located in Peterboro, New York.

Stephen Myers will be inducted, along with abolitionists Robert Everett and Calvin Fairbank. While the Induction Ceremony spans three days, the program is designed as an a la carte program allowing for attendees to select those components they would like to and can attend.

Briefly, the schedule is:

Friday, October 21 – Welsh Concert in honor of Rev. Everett beginning at 7pm

Saturday, October 22 – Tour of the Gerrit Smith Estate NHL, followed by the Abolition Symposium, an Antislavery Box Dinner, and Induction and Banner Unveiling – beginning at 10am and continuing to 9pm

Sunday, October 23 – Reenactments, Tour of the Gerrit Smith Estate NHL, Fairbank House and Museum, Stephen Myers and the Florence Farming and Lumber Association Settlement – beginning at 9:30am and continuing to 4pm
