Many and Varied Hands

Schoharie Crossing State
Historic Site will host “Many and Varied Hands,” a traveling exhibit, from July 11th to 29th – this exhibit shares the history of enslaved peoples and their contributions to the development of New York State. It will be available for viewing during Schoharie Crossing State HIstoric Site regular visitation hours of Wednesday – Saturday 10am-5pm, and Sundays from 1pm-5pm.
Join with Paul and Mary Liz Stewart, cofounders of Underground Railroad Education Center, for a conversation about the relationship of the institution of enslavement as it played out in NYS with the work to abolish this institution by antislavery activists. Conversation will begin at 8:30am and continue until a11am.
