In order for UREC to build the Interpretive Center, rezoning of the properties owned by Underground Railroad Education Center must be rezoned from Residential Townhouse (R-T) to Mixed Use – Neighborhood Edge (MU-NE). This rezoning must go before the public at a Public Hearing to be held at the Albany Community Development Agency building located at 200 Henry Johnson Blvd. in Albany on Thursday, April 11 at 6pm.
