The UGRR story from the perspective of Harriet Tubman and Frederick Douglass – what can they teach us?

Join with Paul Stewart to learn about the Underground Railroad from the lived and recorded experiences of Harriet Tubman and Frederick Douglass, the icons of the UGRR movement.   

This is one of a series of 26 presentations funded by a grant from New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA). All presentations will be conducted in person at The Stephen and Harriet Myers Residence. Presentations are free of charge.

Underground Railroad Education Center’s Storytelling and the UGRR is made possible by funding from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
