Berne-Knox-Westerlo Central School District 8th graders will visit The Stephen and Harriet Myers Residence, Schuyler Mansion, and Historic Cherry Hill on October 3 for the Mining the Untold Stories tour experience. Students will have the opportunity to engage with stories of William James Knapp, the Schuyler’s and people enslaved to them, and Black abolitionists Stephen and Harriet Myers and the freedom seekers to whom they offered sanctuary and assistance.
