A New Interpretation of an Old Story at Beverwyck Senior Center, Slingerlands

Paul and Mary Liz Stewart will provide a brief presentation to attendees at the Women’s Luncheon held on Tuesday, February 15 at 1pm at Beverwyck Senior Center in Slingerlands.
African American leadership, civil disobedience, documentation, are just some of the characteristics of the real Underground Railroad Movement of the antebellum period. This new interpretation and its relevance for today is brought to life through the mission and work of Underground Railroad Education Center.
