DESCRIPTION:Excelsior’s Center for Social Justice\, the Civic Engagement Rope Team\, the Underground Railroad Education Center\, and the Capital Region DEIBJ Leadership Consortium are thrilled to invite you to participate in our 2025 democratic engagement dialogue sessions. During each of the virtual sessions\, our dialogue will focus on: \n\ncollective exploration of the meaning and power of democracy as a way of thinking and a lifestyle;\nthe importance and strategies to create and engage in dialogue that transcends disagreement\, promotes inclusion\, leverages our diversity\, and strengthens democracy; and\nconcrete actions we all could pursue to participate in and promote democracy in our daily environments.\n\nThe democratic engagement dialogue sessions seek to help us reimagine our interactions and conversations\, our collective contribution\, and our engagement as tools for inclusivity\, progress\, and democratic resilience. \nThe democratic engagement dialogue sessions will take place once per month on the dates and times below.
