SUMMARY:Niskayuna 7th graders to visit The Stephen and Harriet Myers Residence
DESCRIPTION:125 7th graders from the Niskayuna Central School District will be rotating through 5 stations at The Stephen and Harriet Myers Residence to learn about the Underground Railroad\, how it worked\, who was involved\, and more. We’ll be using inside and outside spaces for this enriching experience. Concluding activities will allow the participating students to create an illustration of what was most meaningful when at The myers Residence. The art\, poetry\, song and paragraphs to be created by the students will be compiled into a booklet for students to share.
