DESCRIPTION:Albany Common Council has moved out of committee for a full vote by the entire Albany Common Council the recommendation by the Albany Planning Department to rezone the properties on which the UREC Interpretive Center will be built from R-T\, Residential Townhouse\, to MU-NE\, Mixed Use-Neighborhood Edge. A full Council vote will be taken on Ordinance 13.51.24 on Monday\, July 1\, 2024 at the 6pm meeting on floor 2 in Room 206 of Albany City Hall\, 24 Eagle Street\, Albany\, NY 12207.\nAnyone wishing to be heard can submit written comments by 12 noon on July 1\, 2024 to commoncouncil@albanyny.gov or provide in-person testimony on the ordinances before the Common Council for consideration.
