DESCRIPTION:Hudson Valley Community College Office of Community & Professional Education will offer a credit free course at The Stephen and Harriet Myers Residence on WEdnesday\, June 8. Tour The Myers Residence. Hear the voices of Black Abolitionists and Freedom Seekers who were part of the Underground Railroad movement\, the first civil rights movement in the United States. Learn about the public side and about Black leadership of the Underground Railroad. Learn about its relevance for us today. Learn a new interpretation of an old story at The Stephen and Harriet Myers Residence. The tour experience will be interactive and conducted both inside and outside of The Residence. Please dress comfortably to accommodate weather conditions.
