Underground Railroad Camp-In

Sleep over in the place where history happened! Meet Stephen or Harriet Myers, perhaps a visiting Freedom Seeker. Play games that the Myers children played. Help the abolitionists decide how best to respond to the needs of Freedom Seekers. Learn about the life of abolitionists in Albany in the mid-1850’s. Bring your sleeping bag or bed roll, your pillow, and your favorite sleeping companion.

 

Camp-in begins at 6:30pm on Friday and concludes at 9:30am on Saturday.

Price includes dinner, campfire (weather permitting), great activities, breakfast, and a keepsake activity book. Additional items are available for purchase at the gift shop.

Most appropriate for youth ages 8-12yr.

Pre-registration required. Call by Thursday, August 17 to reserve your space. Members can receive a 10% discount. Group discount available.
