The presentation will include a general overview of the Underground Railroad in a way you’ve probably not heard it presented before, debunking popular myths about the Underground Railroad and comparing myths with what we know from documentation about the Underground Railroad. Presenters Paul and  Mary Liz Stewart, public historians and Scholars in Residence at Russell Sage College, will also talk about Underground Railroad History Project and its work.
