Williams-Myers, retired professor of SUNY New Paltz. A.J. was a long time supporter of UREC, he was the first keynote speaker at the first Underground Railroad public history conference, and he authored the Introductory Remarks, “A Voice in Defense of Freedom,” of the Stephen and Harriet Myers Residence Historic Structure Report.
