Walking Tours

Walking Tours Group Tours can be scheduled with at least four weeks advance notice by contacting URHPCR through the link below or calling 518-432-4432. Tours focus on Albany’s Underground Railroad History and the relationship of that history within its national and international context, as well as addressing issues of relevance for us today. Tours can be designed to meet the needs and interests of group participants. Information that is helpful to know when discussing arrangements includes (1) group characteristics, (2) length of time available for a walking tour, (3) dates and times of interest, and (4) number of walkers. Tour price is $10 per adult walker and $5 per child under 16 years. Please note – walking tours do not visit safe houses. We visit locations key to Underground Railroad work and celebrate the stories of freedom seekers and those who assisted them.
