Building and Properties Committee

The Building and Property Committee manages the physical properties owned by URHPCR, which includes the Stephen and Harriet Myers Residence and its yards, and eight additional properties. The Committee maintains and beautifies the grounds throughout the year by mowing lawns, shoveling, tree and foliage trimming, raking, and removing debris. The Committee organizes work parties and works with volunteers on various tasks. The Building and Properties Committee also functions on behalf of URHPCR as restoration project managers, which includes interacting with architects, engineers, contractors and volunteers.

The Young Abolitionists is a teen directed effort supported and guided by the adults who meet with the teens.
